Work Around
Nov. 9th, 2012 09:34 amOur fax system and document viewing system went out Wed night at work. They're still down. We have a sort of work around in place that we've been using since it happened, but while the work around gives us a way to get the incoming faxes - we don't have a work around for the document viewing system.
So basically anything that's faxed in, needs some verification before we can process it. There's a handful of stuff that doesn't need verified. That small handful is all we can work - everything else is getting dumped into a shared folder and we'll work with it once the viewing system is back on file.
Once everything is working, we're going to be SWAMPED with work. Our mandatory overtime for the week has pretty much been eliminated, and we'll pick it back up next week when things are working again.
I already know next week will be a long week as we dig ourselves out of a paperwork hole. But at least today's Friday and the weekend is supposed to be BEAUTIFUL!
